I love Las Vegas so I was excited to showcase a few looks I’d wear in Sin City — inspired by some of the most beautiful Las Vegas hotels.
I’m no stranger to The Strip. Between getaways with KT and our annual trip with close friends, to tradeshows with the client and colleagues, I spend upwards of 20 days a year in Vegas. I love that it offers something for everyone: luxury resorts, incredible eats, never ending nightlife options, sightseeing tours, high-end shopping experiences, lazy days poolside, gambling and more!
Below I share where I stay, eat, shop, drink and sit poolside… and a little outfit inspiration for each!
So join me now as we spend a day together in Vegas.
Book a Room
In summer months, my husband and I go for the pool experience so I love to be at Caesars Palace.
For a little upgrade, book a room in the Palace Tower. For the ultimate luxurious experience, check out NOBU Hotel (inside of Caesars). The Japanese-inspired décor is to-die-for, the service is on-point and you get priority access to Nobu restaurant.
In fall and winter months, consider Aria. A corner suite provides full panoramic views of the beautiful mountains not far from The Strip!
Traveling on a budget? Rooms at The Linq are renovated, modern and clean.
Airport Style & Check In
I always go comfy but skip the sweats. A graphic sweatshirt, skinnies and white sneakers do the trick until after we get checked in and unpacked for the weekend.
Grab Breakfast & Hit the Pool
I’m starving after a long morning of travel but anxious to get to the pool. A gorgeous tunic or hi-low kaftan is easy to throw on over a bikini and appropriate for dining.
Mon Ami Gabi at The Paris is a great place for a late breakfast. We enjoy the open air environment while sipping on mimosas. The eggs benedict is always a great choice.
Before we hit up Venus Pool Club at Ceasars, we always stop for a drink at Fortuna Pool and say hi to our favorite bartenders Kevin and Eric. The pool behind the bar features a swim-up blackjack table if you want to test your luck!
European pools call for sexy swimwear. I always pack some of my favorite brands: Lolli, Mikoh and Acacia.
Note: Many of the pools close in late October.

Let’s Go Shopping
When the pools aren’t open in Vegas, no worries. There is still so much to do.
We like to sleep in, grab a pastry from Jean Philippe Patisserie and then head out to do some shopping at the Forum Shops at Ceasars or Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. You must check out Alexis Bittar, Banana Republic, BCBG, Scoop NYC, Ted Baker, Sephora and Stuart Weitzman.
When shopping, several eateries are dispersed throughout. If you want a place that is good but not too fancy, Grand Luxe Café (off the casino floor at The Venetian) has a large menu and affordable prices. The huevos rancheros are fantastic. Tip: You can skip the lines and sit at the bar for immediate service!
What to wear for a day of shopping: Flare jeans with a floral silk blouse and gold rimmed shades! This outfit plays off of the 70s trend and is fashionable enough when stepping into luxury retail destinations. A mini backpack is the perfect size for my room key, gloss, phone and spending cash. Booties or flats are great for shopping. Throw on some new heels for lunch and a cocktail.

Meet the Guys for Gamble and Cocktails
It wouldn’t feel quite like Vegas without a visit to O’Sheas Casino and Bar. After shopping and lunch with the gals, we meet up with the guys to catch part of a game, play a little blackjack and throw back redbull vodkas while watching the other patrons participate in a beer pong tournament. Anything goes at this fun, lively bar inside The Linq.
Take in the Nightlife
STK at The Cosmopolitan has an in-house DJ and lively bar scene which makes it such a fun spot to dine with a group or as a couple. The people are sexy, the music is great and the food doesn’t disappoint.
After eats, we hit up a lounge for music and cocktails but absolutely recommend taking in a show during a weekend in Vegas. Last year, we went to the racy and raunchy Absinthe at Caesars Palace. Soooo good if you can handle a foul-mouthed host and some mild nudity.
Want a casual night off The Strip? Check out the one-of-a-kind Frankie’s Tiki Room.
My nightly ensembles always vary depending on my mood, the company, festivities in the works and more, but below are a couple looks you might see me wear in Vegas. Both are also great holiday options!
